Jimmy Morris & Eric Brown's journey into the world of coffee and community building is nothing short of inspiring. Dallas, TX natives with hearts deeply rooted in celebrating culture and fostering connections, their venture into the business world is more than just opening a coffee shop—it's about creating a haven for community, culture, and black excellence. Their vision for the coffee shop goes beyond serving a good cup of coffee; it's about establishing an urban, safe, and welcoming space for men, artists, professionals, and entrepreneurs.
The name Kingsmen Coffee finds its roots in the Bible's story of Boaz in the book of Ruth. Boaz, the kinsmen-redeemer, gathered with the men of the city at the gate to conduct business. Inspired by this narrative and guided by their faith, Jimmy & Eric saw an opportunity to create a space where like-minded individuals could come together to fellowship, enjoy entertainment, learn about business, and give back to the community—all while sipping on their favorite brew.

Welcome to our exclusive Private Event Space, available from Monday through Sunday, between the hours of 4 PM and midnight. This meticulously curated area includes essential event furnishings such as tables, chairs, and dedicated event staff assistance.

The Mezzanine
Our Mezzanine Room is a spacious and inviting area, featuring versatile seating options with tables, chairs, a loveseat, and a fireplace, creating an ambient and cozy atmosphere. Ideal for gatherings of up to 15 people, this room is available during coffee shop hours on weekdays and Saturdays, providing an elegant space for your events or meetings.
